How it works
Up and running in under two minutes.
- 01
Scan in seconds
Auto-capture, edge detection, perspective correction, and shadow clean-up happen in real time, page after page.
- 02
Recognise & extract
On-device OCR reads Indian scripts; GST invoices, receipts, passports, and UPI QR codes are parsed automatically — nothing leaves the phone.
- 03
Sign, file & share
Sign, organise into smart folders, and export or share only when you choose. Aadhaar and PAN can be masked before you send.
A note from the studio
“Documents are some of the most sensitive things on your phone — IDs, contracts, invoices. They have no business sitting on someone else's server. LumenScan does its scanning, OCR, and filing entirely on-device.”
Questions
The honest answers.
Are my scanned documents uploaded anywhere?
No. Scanning, OCR, filtering, and filing all happen on your device. Documents stay local unless you turn on iCloud sync, which keeps them between your own Apple devices only, or until you explicitly share or export them.
Which languages does the OCR support?
Indian scripts including English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, recognised on-device with no server round-trip. The exact set available depends on the language packs your device ships with.
Can I lock my private documents?
Yes. A Face ID vault lets you lock sensitive scans behind biometric authentication, with a passcode fallback.
Do you show ads or sell my data?
Never. No ads and no data sale. Product analytics are anonymous and never include document contents.
Is there a free version?
Yes — unlimited scanning and PDF export, with three OCR scans a day. Pro adds unlimited OCR, Word/TIFF/PNG export, password-protected PDFs, fill & sign, smart folders, and iCloud sync. Choose monthly, yearly (7-day free trial), or a one-time lifetime unlock.
Your scans, PDFs, and OCR text are stored locally on your device. Scanning, text recognition, ID/passport and receipt parsing all run entirely on-device.
